there's a million things to do before i leave my island paradise and head back to the beautiful suburbs of so cal. when i think about my decision to move home after college i know it's the right move for me. my little sister will be a senior in high school in the fall and the other one a 7th grader. not to mention my OTHER sister is having a baby soon. i have already missed so much of their lives and i am excited to be involved instead of watching from a rock in the middle of the sea. i've lived in hawai'i for 5 years. it has become my home. the friends i have met here have become family and it's going to be tough leaving them, but life is tough. i don't know if moving home is going to be the right decision for me, but i know that something is pulling me back to my family and i'm not fighting the current.
thankfully ive learned a couple of things from the island life and just life in general:
try not to take myself too seriously because its boring and i like to laugh.
make time for the people i love.
take risks, but be able to deal with the consequences and follow my gut.

stay true to who i am.
for me college was about making mistakes and learning from them. somehow i think the real world is going to be about the same thing.
